Guayedra beach is located at the end of the ravine of the same name, which is an incredible natural environment. This beach is located at the foot of Tamadaba and its views towards the natural park are spectacular, the impressive Roque Faneque is the true guardian of the beach that contrasts with the color of the black sand shores, it is, without a doubt, a of the most beautiful beaches of Gran Canaria.
It is a west-facing beach so it is not protected from the waves, it is advisable to check the wave forecast before going. In case of waves, great caution is recommended since the waves usually form on the shore and can be somewhat dangerous. Nudism is practiced on Guayedra beach, although it is not a rule. Any nudist or non-nudist person can access the beach without any kind of problem or inconvenience.
Recommendation: The sunsets are really beautiful.
Summer temperatures range from 26ºC to 28ºC, although they sometimes reach 30ºC. In winter, daytime temperatures range from 16ºC to 24ºC. The water temperature in summer is close to 23ºC and 19ºC in winter.
How to get to Guayedra Beach in Agaete?
To get to Guayedra beach we have two options, the first is to walk from Agaete. It is a short walk, approximately 30 minutes although the unevenness is considered, we leave you the information of this walk here.
The other option is to drive to the Guayedra ravine on a dirt path and still have to walk another 15 minutes to the beach.
