Sandwiches were delicious, we even ordered a few to go to enjoy on the beach later! Owners are great and they even have the sweetest cat that lounges by the window and watches people walk by!
The sandwiches were good. Really good prices. The host was lovely, and they have a really cute cat as well. It s located in a nice place with nice view over the mountains.
Ah, Meson del Bocadillo Agaete, where the bocadillo with chorizo from Teror felt like a sandwich conspiracy. I ordered the chorizo edition, only to discover that the chorizo had a more elusive presence than Waldo in a camouflage store. It was as if the chorizo whispered, "Hello from the other side of this microscopic layer."
Now, let's talk ambiance – an unexpected twist awaited. The owners, bless their jittery souls, seemed to have ingested a healthy dose of overenthusiastic energy pills. Their frenetic movements and wide-eyed stares left me questioning if I'd wandered into a cafe or a secret underground rave where sandwiches double as party favors.
Their state of animated agitation transformed the dining experience into a surreal performance art piece, complete with invisible chorizo and an atmosphere that felt like an avant-garde interpretation of caffeine-induced anxiety.
But, fear not, dear reader, for amidst the culinary conspiracy and the energetic spectacle, there's a silver lining – an unintentional comedy that unfolded like a quirky sitcom episode. It's a place where the bocadillo is a master of disguise, and the owners' high-energy antics rival a Broadway musical.
So, if you're up for a sandwich adventure where the chorizo plays hide-and-seek, and the owners are living in a world of their own, Meson del Bocadillo Agaete awaits. A dining experience that will leave you questioning the chorizo's existence and pondering the mysteries of sandwich artistry. Bon appétit with a side of sandwich-induced surrealism!
The staff was very friendly and caring. They make excellent coffee and have a nice choice of ingredients for their toasts, grilled sandwiches and piadinas. Cute little inside space with a few tables and some tables outside close to the little church of Playa de las nieves. Can recommend it if you need a good cup of coffee or espresso (and/or a piece of delicious cake…) and to have a quick lunch or take away for the road or the beach.
