Once you arrive in Agaete it’s very easy to find this beach just follow the signs to the Port of Las Nieves. This pebble beach is in the same port but its waters are clear and crystal. The atmosphere is quiet and familiar and you can also enjoy eating the typical fresh fish at one of the restaurants in the area.
There are no waves on this beach and you can swim and enjoy the scenery. You can also practice paddle surfing and snorkeling.
Summer temperatures range from 26ºC to 28ºC, although they sometimes reach 30ºC. In winter, daytime temperatures range from 16ºC to 24ºC. The water temperature in summer is close to 23ºC and 19ºC in winter.
We went there in July 2023 to visit the famous Agaete. It was quite windy on that day which is usually not a case. A small pebble beach is a nice spot to have a short break during a walk in Agaete. You can observe ferries heading to Tenerife. It is very interesting for small kids to observe the multi-coloured pebbles under the water.
Well worth a Visit to the Port, Fish Restaurants a beach ok for sunbathing. Not to busy during the week. Weekends its packed, with locals & you will struggle to find a place to eat as they are all full. We went to the Spar Supermarket in the end, to get some food.
