The Agaete Town Hall is located in a traditional 19th-century house that belonged to the Armas family (bourgeois family of Agaete), which is why it has architectural elements of great interest. In the Town Hall you can do some of the most common procedures, on its website you can find information about cultural events, parties, events or activities carried out by the town hall itself.
Since July 2, 2024, I sent an email to the Justice of the Peace requesting a birth certificate and I have not yet received a response. Every time I call they tell me something different, first Irene says that the books were in the Civil Registry, then that Juan Espino was on vacation, later I managed to contact Mr. Juan Espino on Monday, September 2 when he returned from his vacation and on Thursday, September 12 as well, who argues that he has not had time to read the emails. It is shameful that someone loses the right to obtain Spanish nationality through the Democratic Memory Law due to the lack of personnel or effectiveness of government officials, when it is the government itself that approved this law and does not provide guarantees for its compliance.
I am a user of Agaete beach, last Sunday, September 15, there were many cigarette butts and beer caps, meaning little cleaning and also the doors have been missing for a long time.
of the bathrooms, question does it still have a blue flag?
blue flag? Wow
The lack of attention from the town's local police is incredible and regrettable. I traveled from Tenerife to Gran Canaria to visit Agaete. The local people of the town are unfortunate, they behave in an uncivil and very cave-like way. Jumping off the crane, which is a very nice place, and completely occupying the dock. I have spent more than 5 thousand euros in the town in the time I was there. The lifeguard helped me by calling the local police since there was a dog loose and they didn't pay any attention to the lifeguard. Putting his physical integrity with those people not only for the dogs but also for people in general. Great professional the lifeguard. His name is Cristian and the boy is blonde and the company is pro-vital. The local police never came. Thank goodness it was the fate my husband came to blows with these townspeople who little by little kept away tourists from visiting Agaete again. At least I don't go back where they don't respect me.
I find it unfortunate that they give authority to anyone, I have parked in a place where there was a sign with an arrow that only people with reduced mobility could park, I parked right behind it without realizing that there was another sign, very kindly I went to ask a local police officer if I could park since the sign said it was right in front of the car and his response was if I knew the traffic laws and he acted in the worst contemptuous way, treating me like an illiterate person, that I did know. That it was a horizontal sign, he told me, I firmly believe that you should retire the local police officer and hire someone with studies and education and, above all, physically and mentally well.
Please, you have to improve vehicle circulation. Many streets closed without apparent meaning, Google maps is not updated. We have ended up on stone roads with the possibility of getting stuck or suffering a puncture.
It is not pleasant to visit
