We arrived on a cruise ship in November 2022 & stumbled across this restaurant. We came back on another cruise & brought friends because we really enjoyed the food there. It was another great meal & one of the few places that serve a perfectly fried morena. All the dishes were excellent!
Good food and fast service , i ordered a 1/2 portion sardines and my husband garlic shrimp . The Walter Captain brought a Mojo and he was so service minded . When I asked if the mojo had any dairy he immediately ask me if the sardines could be fried with flour . I am gluten intolerant and this saved my day !
Besides the toilet for the customers was so clean.
- It makes the difference!
We went there for lunch and had the fish for 2 plate. Fish was good and fresh. The service was not the best one, but who is used to the Canarian way of restaurants, can oversee this and enjoy the food.
Local salad, potatoes, fish soup, fried calamari, flan, coffee: 45 euro! Had it been good at least... The fish soup was mostly a yellow looking broth with little fish inside and very little taste - worst fish soup I had so far (in general, not in Gran Canaria). The calamari were a usual fried portion not even well made (not crunchy at all), and for 16 euro it seemed a bit of a rip off. In short, I don't know about the nearby places, but I recommend avoiding this one.

7 years agoDelicious food, try meal of the day, is a good quality/price option. With luck maybe you will have live music too.
