Agaete’s old town

We recommend a quiet walk through the historic center of Agaete, the nucleus of the historic center of Agaete is the church of La Concepción that was created in 1515, the town grew around the church with the typical Canarian country houses that are stone constructions , usually one height with Tea wood ceilings and doors. At present, many of these doors and windows have been replaced by more modern elements, although some of these original constructions can still be seen in the surroundings and also, although more rarely, some traditionally built balconies.
