This was my second visit to Akasa and it was, once again, a memorable experience. The service is super and attentive. The food is of a high quality and beautifully presented. Their menu changes daily depending on what fresh products are available. I would say that this is the place to go in Las Nieves if you want fresh seafood from local waters. The grilled bonito (fish) was spectacular: very smooth, clean and fresh. I was also surprised by a beautiful tartar with avocado and mango in a spicy salsa. And also a delicious plate of eggplant with tomato sauce and pesto.

Wonderful visit here today with my wife and my parents. Greeting was very warm and professional, the ambience, decor and music were all perfectly appointed and leagues ahead of the plastic table tablecloths, fluorescent lighting and menus in 5 languages that you'll find in the restaurants on the front. The menu oozed class, full of locally sourced fresh ingredients. We had bread with grated tomato that was so delicious, followed by burata salad with carpaccio of courgette, served with sundried tomatoes and parmesan, totally beautiful. Smoked salmon croquettes followed, these were beautifully made, delicate bundles of joy. My parents shared the Alfonsino fish main, which was deliciously buttery and garlicky. My wife and had a fillet of beef, cooked rare, fantastic! Desserts were guava/passionfruit fool, homemade almond biscuits and a rich and decadent chocolate mousse. Coffees were top-tier as was the brilliant service, we chatted to the couple who run the restaurant at the end of our meal, and they were just as lovely as the food and drink they served 😀

A lovely small Restaurant in agaete, where we had THE BEST dinner during our two-week vacation on Gran Canaria. The service was excellent, the whole menu was explained to us in detail and the server had great recommendations. We chose the "Menu Akasa", which was amazing from start to finish. Anchovies in olive oil together with crispy bread with tomato paste as a starter was already delicious, the salad with burrata that followed was amazing as well. For the "main" course we had local sama fish served with chickpeas and charcoal grilled black angus beef, served with onion and fried potato. We were almost full, but couldn't say no to a delicious chocolate mousse, with mango sauce and almond crackers for dessert. The name Akasa is more than accurate, the staff, including the head chef were really nice and we felt right at home. If we are ever back on gran canaria we will be sure to visit again!Thank you for the amazing evening!

Several gluten-free options! Close to the beach but very clean and of higher quality than the beach-front restaurants. Intelligent, kind, and professional staff. The food is well thought-through, perfected, and unforgettably delicious. For 4 people, the best choice was a combo of shareable dishes of the day from the menu para compartir, 25 eur / person. Certainly recommend!
