It was built in 1513 in honor of the Virgen de las Nieves. Inside there is a Flemish triptych from the 16th century of great value known as the Triptych of Nuestra señora de las Nieves (Our Lady of the Snows.)
This is such a pretty church in such a cute town. Haven’t seen it open yet so, can’t comment on the opening hours.
The vibe of the town matches the landscape, along with the church.
Collected and charming. Built at the beginning of the 16th century, it is worth entering, if it is open, to admire the altarpiece of the Virgen de Las Nieves. The contrast of the simple architecture against the volcanic rock is overwhelming. The red with which the dome of the Tower is painted. Inside there are many marine details as befits the place where it is located. It is a must-see if you go to Agaete.
