Hondo Cafe

Wow! Fantastic local food and great friendly service. A special mention for the coffee and the wonderful homemade bread! The seating is in a cosy outdoor terrace set back from the street with plenty of plug sockets to charge your devices.

Beautiful atmosphere, absolute lovely people and the food was really delicious! I had the sourdough bread and vegan zucchini dish. And I tried the castaña latte, which was also really good! Absolute recommendation!!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Agaete for 4 weeks, Hondo Cafe was our go to breakfast & coffee spot! The food is delicious and a good portion size for the price. I constantly bought the tostadas as you could customize them for just over €3 and they were so tasty and fresh. Coffee was really great too! The two owners were always very friendly and personable, they really seemed to enjoy their work and always smiled when greeting us. The cafe also had a very nice vibe, with a good amount of seating and very clean bathrooms! If you're in Agaete this place is a must visit!

If heaven had a café for its residents, it would look exactly like Hondo Café. The brunch was amazing, with delicious dishes that exceeded all expectations. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff, they're incredibly friendly and dedicated, making you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.

Fantastic food, fantastic price, and fantastic people! We ate here many times while staying in town for four weeks. The food was creative, delicious, and well priced. They had a few vegan options (as well as vegan croissants and cookies) and the owners are so nice that I'm sure they would modify one of their non-vegan dishes to suit. It was lovely to sit here in the sun and eat delicious food. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
