Hondo Cafe

A poetry on the plate! We had a spontaneous visit to this café during our walk in Agaete. And what a great surprise was it! We were about to have a small coffee break but then, having a brief look at the menu, we were so curious to try something more than a coffee and we were not wrong - the food was insanely good. We ordered a bulgur dish and a portion of the salmon sashimi. It was fantastic - finely balanced with pickles and spiced - finally something qualitatively different in comparison to other restaurants in the village. Highly recommended!

Already one of my favorite spots in Agaete! The owners are lovely, the food super fresh and yummy and the coffee delish. We enjoyed a catering they prepared for us and it was super good!! Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or catering (see photo).

I’ve been in Gran Canaria 1 month now as digital nomad. This is my nr 1 place to go 😍 the food and staff are amazing, and great internet and electricity outlets for working. And of course, the nature of Agaete mountains!

This placed offered me the best meal I had during my trip to Canarias. I had the “Vieja” dish and it was amazing! Their attention towards the client was incredible and the meal presentation was perfect. If you wish to have an experience, I strongly recommend this place.

Best staff ever. Always smiling and happy. The presentation and taste is on point. You have to come if you are near. 10/10
