Hondo Cafe

My girlfriend and I stayed in Agaete for 4 weeks, Hondo Cafe was our go to breakfast & coffee spot! The food is delicious and a good portion size for the price. I constantly bought the tostadas as you could customize them for just over €3 and they were so tasty and fresh. Coffee was really great too! The two owners were always very friendly and personable, they really seemed to enjoy their work and always smiled when greeting us. The cafe also had a very nice vibe, with a good amount of seating and very clean bathrooms! If you're in Agaete this place is a must visit!

Fantastic food, fantastic price, and fantastic people! We ate here many times while staying in town for four weeks. The food was creative, delicious, and well priced. They had a few vegan options (as well as vegan croissants and cookies) and the owners are so nice that I'm sure they would modify one of their non-vegan dishes to suit. It was lovely to sit here in the sun and eat delicious food. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

Very nice ambience and very friendly staff! Everything is great, both to take away and to eat in! The food and coffee tasted great. Price-performance ratio is top! Highly recommended!!!

A great little spot for super tasty, large and good value food. We came here three days for breakfast and every time it was brilliant. Super fresh orange juice, many hearty egg options and the cookies are a must try. The staff also are very friendly and you always feel welcome sitting out on their terrace.

Great service and welcoming atmosphere which made the visit a really good experience. The food was prepared with a lot of attention and I enjoyed very unique options on the menu which would be hard to find in other restaurants. Also, I loved the option of ordering iced coffee!
