La Diosa del Mar

I ordered Calamari but didn’t imagine it would come plain like this and so small. For 16€ I was underwhelmed with food. Next time I will ask in advance, but I’ve never had it like this before in other places. Also, bread and sauce will be brought at as a starter, without asking, and then charged too.

The staff brazenly overstates the weight of the fish sold or does not weigh them at all and always writes the weight of 700 grams. We got two small fish (photo) and received a bill for 1400 grams. I buy fish regularly and I am sure that they were not even close to the weight listed on the bill. Similar sentiments are repeated in the reviews of the establishment so I consider this a simple scam. I recommend requiring the fish to be weighed in front of your eyes.

Perfect service and lovely food. I have eaten dinner many times in Puerto de las Nieves and I think this restaurant is really worth choosing.

Superb restaurant! We had 2 delicious fish dishes plus canarian potatoes and salad. Large and tasty portions! Excellent, friendly and efficient service. The only complaint was the Canarian wine wasn't great and it was closed Monday and Tuesday (30/31st Dec) or we would have eaten there again!

Nicely positioned port restaurant with tasty food and friendly waiters. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly waiters who both spoke good English. We had fish soup for starter which was fresh and delicious, and also unexpectedly large. Then we ordered the fish stew, which is a mixture of the fish of the day with prawns and mussels. Also, very good and unexpectedly large. For us it was a memorable experience and I would advice people to ask for portion size before or just stick to the main course if you opt for the fish stew. Price-wise, it was reasonable. We spent less than €80 on 2 courses with drinks.
