Our menu includes seafood and fish, meat, starters, soups and a variety of salads, rice dishes and paellas, desserts and a varied menu of drinks, coffees and infusions. We also have daily suggestions.
The staff brazenly overstates the weight of the fish sold or does not weigh them at all and always writes the weight of 700 grams. We got two small fish (photo) and received a bill for 1400 grams. I buy fish regularly and I am sure that they were not even close to the weight listed on the bill.
Similar sentiments are repeated in the reviews of the establishment so I consider this a simple scam.
I recommend requiring the fish to be weighed in front of your eyes.
Restaurant with local fish/ sea fruit dishes with nice sea view. The fish was very tasty so big plus for this. However, shrimps were rather plain and not properly cleaned (we needed to remove the gut by ourselves). The side dishes are slightly overpriced - we ordered French fries as side dish, they were rather average (greasy not crispy) and they charged us more than 8 euros. Fish dish was 25 eur.
Nicely positioned port restaurant with tasty food and friendly waiters.
As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the friendly waiters who both spoke good English.
We had fish soup for starter which was fresh and delicious, and also unexpectedly large.
Then we ordered the fish stew, which is a mixture of the fish of the day with prawns and mussels. Also, very good and unexpectedly large.
For us it was a memorable experience and I would advice people to ask for portion size before or just stick to the main course if you opt for the fish stew.
Price-wise, it was reasonable. We spent less than €80 on 2 courses with drinks.
The “Caldereta” pictured costing 63 euros (for 2) was exceptional, as were the sardines. The bill pictured is for 4 hungry people. The Albariño was a perfect pairing. Good service and recommendations.
