Amazing food! I haven't had such an good seafood in a long time. Very nice served, very good preapered. And yes, we needed to wait but it was defined worth it.
The only thing I was surprised about was that the starter - bread and alioli was added to our bill. But that is just a small detail.
Ah, and the grilled fish "accompanied with potatoes" was a fish with some salad and half potato which made me laugh... Good that paella and mussels made me forget about that 😆😅
We had Galician octopus, garlic prawns and Gofio for starters and fried fish for main with Canadian potatoes. All good. I particularly liked the Gofio (never had it before) which reminded me of cross between hummus and peanut butter. Great location and great service. Sadly we only had a Visa card to pay and it didn’t give the option for a tip where one was deserved.
Only thing that let the food down was that we had 3 small fried fish, when one large one would have been nicer but we were a bit late so it might have been all that was available
Baby octopus plate is a must and yo should try shrimps/avocado salad. Had the best sangria in the whole Gran Canaria, effort put in each glass was sensational (stayed 10 days on the island and my wife drank only sangria so she knows).
Staff not fluent in languages but very nice so give them a break.
All and all we were delighted.
