We have a terrace and tables inside. We have fresh fish, homemade bread made every day as well as fresh homemade pasta made by us, Mediterranean cuisine specialties.
much as I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt, this experience left no room for that. From the moment we sat down, the service was poor. We were seated on the side facing the water, which apparently meant longer waits and having to chase down waiters multiple times. When we tried to order drinks and food together, the waiter informed us he didn’t take food orders and would send a colleague. We waited over 15 minutes, and only managed to place our order by flagging down a server who was attending the table next to us.
We ordered the catch of the day (grilled), a tomato salad with grated cheese, and grilled squid. About 20 minutes later, the grilled squid arrived—except it was fried. When we pointed out the mistake, the waiter argued that grilling wasn't an option, even though the menu clearly stated otherwise. He then tried to convince us to eat the fried squid, claiming it was "very good," but we refused. Visibly upset, he took it back. Ten minutes later, another waiter brought us the wrong appetizer—goat cheese with fig instead of the tomato salad. We were hungry, so we ate it, but it was nothing special.
When the main course arrived, the catch of the day was so salty I couldn’t finish it, and shortly after, the grilled squid that was supposedly “not possible” magically appeared.
The bill came, and they attempted to charge us for both the grilled and fried squid, plus an unexplained charge called “on the back” for €4.60, which wasn’t mentioned on the menu. When I asked about it, the server’s explanation was unclear, and at that point, we just wanted to leave. The entire experience took over two hours, and after paying €66.51, we left feeling very disappointed. They did remove the extra squid charge after we pointed it out, reducing the bill from €82.51, but overall, it was overpriced food with mediocre service and disappointing quality.
TL;DR:
Slow service with unfriendly staff.
They overcharge for grilled items with a hidden “open back service” fee of €4.60.
Multiple order mistakes, followed by attempts to charge for them.
They even charge €0.50 for a takeaway container.
The food seems fresh but just ok in taste and preparation method. As we came there were three tables empty with „reserved“ sign. We asked if there is a free table they told us there is one but that guests are coming in one hour and that the food takes 20-25 minutes to be prepared. We decided to take our chance because we were not planing to stay long anyway. We quickly decided what we want to order but finally waited 30 min for the waiter to take our order after we already wanted to leave. I understand that they were busy, but as we wanted to order with some other waiter, they told us the other waiter will come and take our order. We didn’t really enjoy the place although the food was not that bad and the atmosphere nice. Maybe they shouldn’t take so many guests if they are not able manage them.
We decided to treat ourselves to Italian food and I'm happy to say Ragù did not disappoint!
The food was delicious, we had the risotto and carbonara both of which were super flavourful and good sized portions.
The outdoor dining area offered great views of the beach/port and the staff were very friendly and personable!
Came here because of the trip advisor recommendation and it was good choice. We ordered spaghetti ragu and one with spicy shrimps. Food was fresh and very tasty. We can fully recommend
Came here twice during our stay (the only place we visited more than once). Had a catch of the day one evening and the big seafood platter the other. Both were delicious and plentiful. Staff were lovely! Particularly with the catch of the day (where you pay by grams) we were given lots of advice on what to choose and the waiter double checked the price with us once he had chosen the fish.
