Roque Faneque is a majestic natural monument that stands tall at 1027 meters, making it the highest sea cliff in Europe and the seventh in the world. Its imposing presence serves as a guardian to the Agaete coast and is often referred to as the head of the “dragon’s tail.” Hiking trails lead to the summit of Roque Faneque, where visitors can marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the rugged coastline. The trek to the top can be challenging but is well worth the effort for the opportunity to witness the stunning landscape and natural beauty of the area. Roque Faneque is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Agaete and offers an unforgettable experience that will leave a lasting impression.

4 years agoIt is a crag like the ones before, very traditional but you can have innovative experiences. Look at it from top to bottom, or bottom to top, you can choose. It is not advisable to perform parkour in it. A visit is highly recommended. No reservations needed. It is hard, not comfortable to sleep on. Vegan and animal friendly.
